PA-COMP LTD. was founded as a family business in 1993 with strong will and great faith, with God's help and with the silent hard working and ingenuity of the inhabitants of this region.
In the initial period we started to pack human agricultural products (bean, poppy, lentil, dried peas, husked products etc.), which is still our company's major activity.
We have always formed our range of products to satisfy our customers' demands, so we started to manufacture and distribute gluten free corn extrudates and popcorns in 1995. It was in 1996 when we built our food plant from own capital.
In 1997 we started to manufacture our "nut substitute mixture" product which is under the protection of industrial property since 6th July, 1998. This is a special product which, due to its ingredients, even people sensitive to cholesterol can consume and enjoy the unforgettable joy of the nut's taste. It contains no preservatives!
It is our task and objective to serve our customers' interests, to increase and maintain high quality and to strictly follow the technological processes. In order to achieve our objectives we started to operate the MSZ EN ISO- 9001: 2001 Quality Control, the HACCP Food Safety and the IQNET Company Management Systems in 2001, then we had our International Food Standard IFS, ISO- 22000:2005, and the BRC Global Standard-food Food Safety systems audited in 2007.
Our company built a finished goods warehouse and office building in 2002; we expanded and modernized our raw material warehouse in 2003, then, once the infrastructure had been adjusted, the number of the transport vehicles and warehouse materials-handling machines were multiplied.
The following years have been characterized by continuous innovations. The Industrial Business Prize of 2005 was awarded to PA-COMP LTD by the Szabolcs Szatmár Bereg County's Chamber of Industry in 2005. We started manufacturing the product family "PACO" while continuous technical developments took place.
During the years of production it became necessary to introduce modern technologies yielding final products without the touch of human hands to exclude the carelessness and negligence. Our company was awarded the Innovation Prize of the Northern Lowland Chambers of Industry and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences for its outstanding achievements in the innovation in 2007.
Our product the "nut substitute mixture" received several awards and prizes in 2007 and 2008. Once PA-COMP LTD. evaluated the situation of the Hungarian market it has decided to focus mainly on this special product.
